Important Information For Clients Regarding COVID-19 Virus

Due to concerns about the novel coronavirus and related disease (COVID-19), we are taking additional precautionary measures (per the recommendations of the CDC) within the hospital to keep our staff, doctors, animals, clients, and visitors safe, while continuing to provide essential patient care.

We have increased our sanitizing protocols around the hospital for client and staff safety to allow us to remain OPEN.

Our primary goal is to stay healthy, keep others around us healthy and continue to provide service throughout the duration of this pandemic.

We are currently experiencing high patient volumes and extended wait times (phones included). Emergencies can rapidly evolve, as with human hospitals, we triage our patients based on their critical needs. This can impact your wait time.

We are using the following protocols for visits to our veterinary hospital until further notice:

Please call the clinic when you arrive in our parking lot and a member of our team will meet you outside. We will ask you of the make and model of your vehicle and input all-new client information over the phone, and ask that you please wait patiently in your vehicle until we are ready to take your pet inside.

Dogs

We ask clients to get out of their car and meet us on the sidewalk when we arrive at your vehicle. We will then use our own leash (or gurney), to bring your pet inside. Please keep your pet’s belongings (leashes, toys, blankets) with you. Personal belongings will not be brought into the hospital.

Cats

Please hand the carrier to a team member when they approach your vehicle.

The Exam Process

Following the examination, a doctor will call you to discuss their findings and recommendations.

After your veterinarian has spoken with you technician will present you with a treatment plan and associated costs at that time.

After diagnostics and/or treatments have been finished, we will call to discuss the results.

At discharge, we will email electronic discharge instructions. A technician will review the discharge instructions over the phone and answer your related questions.

All payments will be taken over the phone, except for cash payments.

Online Pharmacy

Also for clients who do not want to travel into the clinic please utilize our Hospital’s Online Pharmacy. This can be a great resource to ensure proper social distancing, but still provide the necessary medications and nutritional products.

Thank you for all your dedication and support during these challenging times! Please reach out with any questions.
